NUMBER PLATES

Your trailer must legally display a plate matching your towing vehicle. We print one for you — done properly, by the book.

The service £15

Tick the number plate add-on during booking and we'll print a road-legal plate showing your towing vehicle's registration, delivered with your trailer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PROVIDE

⚠ A copy of your V5C (log book) is required by law before we can print a number plate. The booking form asks for it the moment you tick the number plate add-on — snap a photo of the V5C for the vehicle you'll be towing with. We can't hand over a printed plate without it.

Your V5C is stored securely, used only to produce the plate and verify your hire, and deleted under the same automatic retention schedule as your other hire documents — see our Privacy Policy.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Plates are printed as soon as your booking is confirmed so they're ready for delivery.
  • Because of that, if you cancel after your plate has been printed, the plate cost is non-refundable — but the plate is still delivered to you and is yours to keep for future hires.
  • The plate must match the vehicle doing the towing. Swapping tow cars mid-hire? Get in touch first.
