JLH Trailer Hire is a family-run business based in Shalfleet, right here on the Isle of Wight. When you book with us, you deal directly with the owner — no call centres, no middlemen. We deliver to your door between 5pm and 8pm, walk you through the trailer at handover, and we're on the end of the phone throughout your hire. It's our name on the trailer, and we treat every hire like it matters — because to us, it does.

Our hire trailers are fitted with TrailerSentry tracking technology where applicable. This helps us monitor trailer security and assists with theft prevention and recovery.
Our trailers are protected through specialist trailer-hire insurance while used in accordance with our insurance policy and hire conditions. This gives our customers additional reassurance that they are hiring from a professionally managed and properly protected trailer-hire business.
Customers must still ensure that their own vehicle insurance permits towing and that their vehicle is legally capable of towing the selected trailer. The customer remains responsible for driving legally, securing the load correctly and complying with all terms of the hire agreement. Our NTTA membership and insurance do not replace your own legal responsibilities.
